Website Magic

Rosemary Miller has been creating websites since 1993, when she first began dabbling in HTML code while creating a web page for Prairie Hills Middle School. Her natural aptitude and unique combination of creativity and analytic thinking helped her learn quickly, and eventually she developed websites for all the buildings in the Buhler school district.

Moving on from straight HTML code, she began to learn website development software such as Dreamweaver and eventually WordPress. Her websites for Prairie Hills Middle School and Buhler High School have won awards from the Kansas Association of School Boards/Kansas School Public Relations Association their Publications Competition, including this recognition in 2006.

Today Rosemary provides website development, design, and maintenance services for individuals and small businesses. In fact, she has created three websites for one of her very special clients, who explains:

Rosemary is a go-getter. In fact, she thrives on a challenge. She pushes away barriers and looks for new possibilities, a true problem solver. Her “can-do” attitude is exemplified by her extra effort, great service, and focus on details. I’ve worked with Rosemary on three websites. During each process she listened to my dreams, asked many questions, and responded to my “special” requests. There were times when I thought she was reading my mind as she created exactly what I wanted! Magic! Dayna Richardson

Maintenance agreements also are available for assistance in updating and upgrading websites after the initial rollout. Here’s Rosemary’s portfolio of websites.

Life is learning, and learning is life!  This collection of resources, some fun and some serious, can help you learn and explore website development and technology in general.

Tech Learning

It’s true: learning never ends. And with technology, this is especially true because it changes every day. Of course, constant change can be exciting and invigorating, or it can become a daily, somewhat frustrating challenge for technology users and learners. Rosemary Miller can help people navigate and even thrive with all of these these changes, no matter their current level of knowledge and skill. And setting her apart from others is her expertise with both Mac and PC computers.

Some people need to start learning about technology from “scratch,” while others are ready to try more sophisticated projects such as multimedia or photo editing. And for many people, just when they think they have something like Facebook or Windows figured out, updates and new layouts show up suddenly on their screens. No matter what a person wants or needs to learn, if it’s related to technology, Rosemary can provide the perfect learning session(s).

Basically, Rosemary provides technology coaching and “house calls” for people who want to learn more about technology on their own computers or devices, in their own homes.  If preferred, she can meet in her home or at an alternate location with wireless, such as the Metro Coffeehouse in Hutchinson, a favorite learning location and planning location for her clients.

Rosemary’s “tech learning” clients include an author of children’s books and poetry, a well-known entrepreneur, a nationally-known educational innovator, and many “ordinary” people who use her assistance with day-to-day technology tasks. Learning sessions can be conducted face-to-face or even remotely using different online conferencing and screen-sharing tools.
